I pride myself in being this type of friend. I have and will always be there for my friends when they need me. Many times I have gotten call in the middle of the night and I have dashed out of my warm cozy bed to be there for one of them. Once I had even just had a spinal procedure that day and could hardly move, but I got a call so I got up and was there for them. True friends are there for you whenever.
