If one really and truly no longer wants to feel a certain way, then one will then have enough motivation to enact change, to overcome whatever desire there was up until that point to stay the same. If you haven’t reached that point, then you think you want it but haven’t actually decided (yet). ~ Travis Harper
One day I felt myself dying, I was in a dark place, I felt so guilty for being so depressed. I was like lord you must help me so I got some council. I did not think it would help but thank God it did. It also taught me a lot about people and I got so much more than what I went for. I gained a more compassionate heart for peoples’ pain. Just don’t give up! ~ Tonya Hughes
Suffering has historically always been acknowledged as a term in life, it is said that it is when you suffer, that you grow the most. I agree with having a positive outlook in life, but I do not believe in the pressure of happiness. There is nothing wrong with being sad, perhaps there is a legitimate reason for it, there often is and yes it often encourages a change, but circumstances are beyond our control! My point is merely, that happiness is lovely but I believe the constant pressure to be happy makes us unhappy, because life isn’t always happy. Learning how to deal with the sad and tough things are a criteria for life living, and I experience an increase of people not allowing themselves to be whole human beings. ~ Sofia Fromberg
