The reverse is true too. You make your own misery, both are a choice. So ask yourself where you’d prefer to put your energy. ~ Unknown
Regardless of who we blame in this life for their dysfunctional behavior, we allow them to rob us of our happiness and contentment. The moment we decide not to hop aboard their pity train or whatever negative mindset they’ve camped at by choice because they are so unhappy, that’s when ‘ah hah!’ moment occurs and we choose happiness over misery. I should add- it’s much easier when you focus on The Lord, because only He can bring us genuine peace. We cannot find that in any other earthly soul. Sorry for the sermon, but this is a lesson God Himself taught me and now I am so much happier. ~ Victoria Dukes
Your joy is your own; your bitterness is your own. No one can share them with you.
Create and maintain your own happiness because happiness is a choice and that is ok because I am the only one to know what I want in my life and I am the only one to make it happen and so I will. I choose happiness. ~ Unknown
